Join us for a conversation with Raull Santiago, a human rights activist, media maker, and resident of the Complexo do Alemão favelas in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Raull will talk about his work as co-founder of Coletivo Papo Reto (Straight Talk Collective), a network of young activists that uses social media to tell their own stories, counter stereotypes, and hold accountable police and other authorities for violations in their communities.

This event is presented by the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice, the Robert L. Bernstein Institute for Human Rights, and Law Students for Human Rights.
