Does the opportunity to argue before real judges of the International Criminal Court at The Hague sound fascinating? If so, apply to be on NYU & CHRGJ’s team for the official ICC Trial Competition.
International criminal law sits at the intersection of domestic criminal law, general international law, and human rights law. Students selected to participate on the ICC Moot Court team will have the opportunity to work on a range of issues, sharpen their legal research and writing skills, gain oral argument experience, and work with a dynamic group of students and teachers.
While preparation will begin this semester, the submission of written materials and participation in oral arguments will take place during the spring.
Although knowledge of international criminal law is an advantage, it can be learned effectively during the process. Unfortunately applicants who are admitted to the bar in any jurisdiction are ineligible.
Please email Danny Auron (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your resume attached for details and to receive the full application. The completed application is due September 14th.
