Lauren Stackpoole is the Program Manager at the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice. She holds an M.A. in International Studies from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver and a B.A. in History and International Studies from Loyola University Chicago. In graduate school she focused on democracy building in post-Communist states and minority rights in Central and Eastern Europe. She interned with Freedom House Europe in Budapest, Hungary editing Nations in Transit 2010. She also volunteered for several years with Village Health Partnership, a Denver, Colorado-based nonprofit organization which invests in local communities in Ethiopia to improve access to health care for women. Prior to joining CHRGJ she worked as the Communications and Outreach Manager for the American-Scandinavian Foundation.
