CHRGJ Faculty Director and Co-Chair, Ryan Goodman has just released an Op-ed in Slate titled: “The Lesser Evil: What the Obama Administration Isn’t Telling You About Drones”

Based on the forthcoming article “The Power to Kill or Capture Enemy Combatants,” Professor Goodman outlines the international rules of war as they apply to targeted killing, saying “the international rules of warfare require nations to capture instead of kill enemy fighters, especially when lethal force is not the only way to take them off the battlefield.”
