CHRGJ is excited to announce that for the first time it will be co-sponsoring a film in the Tribeca Film Festival: the Indian documentary “Powerless”, from Directors Fahad Mustafa and Deepti Kakkar.

“Powerless” tells the story of Loha Singh, a man in Kanpur, India who risks his life to splice electric lines and provide power for those who can’t afford it in the city.   While his efforts bring power to many, they perpetuate the electric shortage in the city, where supply is based on the number of paying customers.
