Professor Narula Seeking Part-time Summer Research Assistants

Professor Smita Narula seeks 1 – 2 part-time research assistants, for immediate hire, to assist with a variety of human rights projects, including but not limited to research related to food insecurity and the right to food in the United States, and research related to human rights abuses stemming from forced evictions in India.

Interested applicants should apply immediately and must be JDs currently enrolled at NYU School of Law.  Please send a cover letter, resume, transcript and a writing sample (preferably not a lawyering brief) to Please indicate your familiarity and experience with bluebooking/subciting. Please also indicate your academic and practical experience working with international human rights law and on human rights issues, including issues related to food and land rights.  Finally, please indicate your availability for work this summer (in terms of hours per week, especially for the month of June when work may be more significant).
