CHRGJ Seeking Applicants for Part-time, Paid Internship in Collaboration with IHFFC

The Center for Human Rights and Global Justice (CHRGJ) in collaboration with the International Humanitarian Fact-finding Commission (IHFFC) is looking to hire an intern for the principal part of the forthcoming session of the United Nations General Assembly (mid-September until the end of the year) and beyond. This will be a paid internship requiring approximately 20 hours per week during the month of October and lesser, variable hours throughout the rest of the year. Please read the official IHFFC announcement and intern tasks (attached).

Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in International Humanitarian Law and will be curious individuals who are very good at self-direction and concise communication. No experience in IHL or with UN bodies is required, though some knowledge of IHL is desirable and the intern selected will need to learn quickly.

Applications should include: (1) a curriculum vitae; (2) transcript(s); and (3) a brief statement of interest. Also, include when you would be available to interview on Tuesday September 17 between 1.00 and 6.00. Interviews will be conducted by Professor Alston.
