Yihong “Julie” Mao, previously a recipient of CHRGJ’s competitive International Law and Human Rights Fellowship to fund her summer work at the UN High Commission for Refugees in Kuala Lampur, was named to Forbes’ 30 under 30 list for Law and Policy. Mao, now an attorney at New Orleans Workers’ Center for Racial Justice, was recognized for her work on immigration, human trafficking, and civil rights issues.
