Short-term, Immediate Paid Research Opportunity with CHRGJ
May 19, 2014

CHRGJ is seeking a temporary research assistant to carry out time-sensitive academic research that will feed into the work of a prominent senior human rights official currently working on a publication. The project would last approximately two weeks (40 hours/week) and would consist of discrete research  tasks, mostly focused on reading, summarizing, and analyzing key documents to contribute to the publication.  As much of the material will deal with quantitative data, the ideal candidate will be someone with familiarity with data and statistics, as well as with a decent grounding in human rights. The researcher will be playing a vital role in a high-profile project and would receive credit for their work in the publication, as well as remuneration for their work.

The time frame and time commitment is flexible, but the ideal candidate would be available to start as soon as possible. Pay rate and hours will be based on availability and qualifications.

To apply, please send your CV and cover letter to Veerle Opgenhaffen at Opgenhaffen@exchange.law.nyu.edu.
