Invitation to Participate in Survey on Dangerous Speech by Oxford University
March 8, 2016
The Programme in Comparative Media Law & Policy (PCMLP) at Oxford University is conducting a research project on speech that can encourage, facilitate or lead to mass violence. This includes any form of expression, including images, texts, and oral communications, that can lead to mass violence against civilians (there are various different terms used for this, such as violent extremist speech and incitement to violence).
The aim is to map global and local initiatives that are addressing ‘dangerous speech’ and they seek your opinion, as a member of the Center for Human Rights & Global Justice’s network, to advance this important research.
The survey can be found here, and you can answer anonymously if you prefer. The survey will only be open for one week- until March 15th.
If you have any questions, please contact CHRGJ alumnus Oliver Persey.
