Summer Internships with Global Justice Clinic and UN Special Rapporteurs

The Center for Human Rights and Global Justice at NYU Law is seeking additional interns for its summer legal internship program. Placements are with the Global Justice Clinic and either the Transitional Justice or the Extreme Poverty project, led by the UN Special Rapporteur on the right to truth, justice, reparations, and guarantees of non-recurrence and the UN Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights, respectively.

The application deadline is Thursday, March 23.

The summer internship program runs for 10 weeks, from June to early August. This is a full-time, unfunded internship. Applicants with outside funding are particularly encouraged to apply.

Global Justice Clinic

Interns will provide support to a variety of the cases and projects on the Clinic’s docket, including:

Transitional Justice Program

Interns will provide support to the mandate of the UN Special Rapporteur on truth, justice, reparation and guarantees of non-recurrence, including:

Extreme Poverty and Human Rights Project

Interns will provide support to the mandate of the UN Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights, including:
