The Center for Human Rights and Global Justice is pleased to announce that it has adopted a vegetarian and vegan food policy for catered events organized by the center, effective Wednesday, April 25, 2018.

CHRGJ is a community of scholars, educators, journalists, and advocates united by a commitment to apply our skills towards a more just and humane world. Out of respect for animals and the humans impacted by the animal agriculture and processing industries, and out of concern for the environment on which we all depend, we commit to purchasing only vegetarian foods for Center-catered events and to ensuring that we always include vegan options in our offerings.
