October 25, 2018

Just Security

The Center for Human Rights and Global Justice congratulates the new leadership of the renamed Reiss Center on Law and Security at NYU School of Law. CHRGJ faculty co-director Professor Ryan Goodman has assumed an additional faculty co-director role with the Reiss Center, alongside fellow NYU Law faculty David Golove, Stephen Holmes, Trevor Morrison, and Samuel Rascoff. Professor Goodman will remain as a co-director of CHRGJ along with Professors Philip Alston, Margaret Satterthwaite, and Sally Engle Merry.

The online forum Just Security, housed at CHRGJ since its launch in September 2013, will now be based at the Reiss Center, while still remaining editorially independent. CHRGJ will continue its work on human rights and counterterrorism. We wish our colleagues at Just Security all the best in their new academic home, and we look forward to partnering with the Reiss Center on topics of shared interest.
