Professor Satterthwaite Seeks RA—ASAP and Fall Semester

Professor Margaret Satterthwaite seeks an NYU law student Research Assistant for the fall semester to work on a project concerning accountability for the US torture and extraordinary rendition program. The student should be available for approximately 8-10 hours of work per week. The position is for two academic credits.

Students will be asked to conduct substantive research and legal writing about human rights violations in the context of U.S. torture, rendition, and detention. Professor Satterthwaite seeks applicants with excellent research and writing skills and fluent or near fluent English language ability. 2Ls, 3Ls, and LLM students are eligible; must be a matriculated NYU Law student.
