The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is hosting a Facebook Live Talk with Professor Philip Alston, CHRGJ Faculty Director and Co-Chair, UN Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights on Friday, June 9 from 10:00-10:30am EDT (4:00-4:30pm CEST).

The talk will cover Professor Alston’s work on poverty and human rights, including the issue of universal basic income, which is the topic of a thematic report he presented to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva on Wednesday, June 7, 2017.
