CHRGJ invites you to explore its latest photo exhibit, “Nowhere to Go” by Andy Lin, meet CHRGJ faculty and staff, and learn about our upcoming events and projects.

CHRGJ presents “Nowhere to Go”—a stunning collection of self-portraits taken in Haitian displacement camps after a catastrophic earthquake hit Haiti in 2010. After the earthquake, many individuals and families who lost their homes were forced to live in informal tent cities, where they face regular threats of eviction, water and sanitation problems, and security threats. In “Nowhere to Go” photographer Andy Lin brings his “Self Portrait Project” to displacement camps enabling the people living there to present images of themselves and their surroundings in the way they choose to be represented.

The photos are displayed in CHRGJ’s office space in Wilf Hall. The NYU Law community and the general public are invited to view the exhibit at CHRGJ’s Open House, featuring exciting opportunities to
