Professor Margaret Satterthwaite seeks one or two NYU Law student Research Assistants for the spring semester to work on a project concerning accountability for the US torture and extraordinary rendition program. The student(s) should be available for approximately 8-10 hours of work per week. The position is forĀ two academic credits.

Students will be asked to conduct substantive research about human rights violations in the context of US counter-terrorism cooperation with third states. Professor Satterthwaite seeks applicants with excellent research and writing skills and fluent or near fluent English language ability. Any class level eligible; must be a matriculated NYU Law student.
