The Center uses its location at one of the world’s leading law schools to help students develop the knowledge and experience needed to play leading roles in governments, international organizations, and civil society in the years to come.

In its effort to promote cutting-edge scholarship and substantive engagement, CHRGJ offers multiple avenues for current students — both of NYU School of Law and from programs around the country and the world — to explore a vast array of options in the field of human rights.

These include a widely acclaimed human rights fellowship program that places students in established human rights organizations around the world; two dedicated human rights clinics; a robust full-time summer internship program; and numerous opportunities to produce cutting-edge scholarship for publication, among others.
