Biography

Andrew Reisenauer is a rising third-year law student at UCLA School of Law seeking his JD with a specialization in international and comparative law. Before attending UCLA, Andrew graduated in 2015 with his BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame where he also majored in Arabic. This summer, Andrew will be working on the Global Justice Clinic as well as assisting Global Justice Clinic Director, Margaret Satterthwaite, in her research.

Following his first year of law school, Andrew worked as a Summer Law Clerk at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles within their Veterans Justice Center, where he assisted in providing legal services to low-income veterans in the LA area.

At UCLA, Andrew serves as Co-President of UCLA’s chapter of the International Refugee Assistance Project, while also serving as a Managing Editor of the UCLA Law Review and Chief Articles Editor of UCLA’s Journal of Islamic and Near Eastern Law. Additionally, he continues to act as Co-Chair of the VAWA/U-Visa Immigration Clinic after spending the last year also in the role of Financial Director of El Centro Legal Clinics.
