Emma Crowe

Privatization Project’s Human Rights Scholar


Emma Crowe is a J.D. Candidate at NYU School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College in 2019. Prior to pursuing her J.D., Emma worked with the Experience Center at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Digital Strategist. She has also worked as a Public Interest Fellow for New York State’s Office of the Attorney General, and recently conducted research with the Open Society Justice Initiative around innovative techniques to climate litigation, particularly approaches grounded in fiduciary and consumer law. Her research interests include environmental law and international human rights in relation to gender, discrimination, privatization, and the climate.


Emma works with the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice as a Human Rights Scholar on the Human Rights & Privatization Project.
