Joyce Anne Raboca

Joyce Anne Raboca is an LL.M. candidate at NYU specializing in Environmental and Energy Law and holds both a J.D. and a B.A. in Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University. Since being admitted to the Philippine bar, she has focused on international environmental law and strategic environmental and human rights litigation. While working at the boutique environmental consultancy firm Parabukas, she supported the Philippine government with the UNFCCC process and helped produce a national television and radio show to increase awareness on environmental issues. At the environmental human rights litigation NGO Upholding Life And Nature, she represented fisherfolk and victims of large-scale mining operations. She loves yoga and has raised funds through yoga classes for community-based reforestation efforts in the mangrove forests of Bulacan and the upland forests in the Sierra Madre mountain range.
